Sipping coffee at my desk...!!
I started to think what to write for this week 15 review and start of the short week 16 in 2011 NFL Regular season. Just to begin my insight for this week a perfect start would be ? Yes you are right Tim Tebow is my start point for this week and to end Candlestick Park Power outage will be a highlight, from the famous words of Lebron Not 1,Not 2..lets stop it here for now with the power outage count.
When people were killing John Fox for putting him without game ready skills and John Elway talking future beyond Tebow after cutting Orton these are my words "Every QB in this league needs time to develop do not criticize". Later when everybody was praising for his win streak I again said the same thing "You are giving too much credit for this kid in terms of winning". With a loss to Patriots it is a reality check for Tim Tebow and Broncos. I mean the wins were against Jets, Chargers, Bears[top defenses in league],Chiefs(You know they got that Win against Packers) but not that Tebow did not do anything but when facing superior offenses which put points like crazy against premier defenses offense should save the day.
Mark Anderson (DE) and Warren for the Patriots were getting to Tebow like crazy the difference was they both tackled Tebow low. If you see all the defenses that Tebow played they attacked him on the top and being such a runner you know that stopping a Running Back by tackling at the top is a stupid act which none of the teams got it right.Really Strange to think. Bill Belichick got it right. How half time and in game adjustments. To get into some more details, if you look in first quarter when Broncos were lights out on offense. Belichick simply played 2 deep safety / 2 Cover pattern coverage with rush attack. Soon to realize that Tebow was passing in crisp fashion. Come second quarter man to man coverage when it came to covering receivers. Now he took out the passing lane for Tebow, his option was left with running the ball straight out, where the mastermind blitzed from 4 sides of the scrimmage, making a pass rush attack or LB Blitzing. Not that other teams did not do a LB blitz but what they did was tackling him low which would atleast delay him for a couple of seconds and help will be there to close his running and passing lane. What you got 2 fumbles and few more sacks. May be Romeo Crennel will take a page out of this because he comes from a Belichek tree too. Now the point is how can an almost rookie QB adjust to such in game changes and how coaches help him develop. Hence my word is yes all the fan frenzy is great but time to develop is key and this fella is in the right direction to get things done. Believe in your QB and if not Cut him there are enough teams who want to atleast fill in the stadiums with a famous QB performing on an average basis.
Let's move out of the Tebow mania but the crazy week did not end so quick as we have some firsts in NFL, yes Chiefs defeated the Packers. First defeat for the Packers, when you get caught napping this is what you get. I think Green Bay lost the motivation to hold up. But if I don't credit the Kansas defense surely I am at fault. The way they rushed Aaron Rodgers and dominated the line of scrimmage caught the O-line was scrambling like never before during the entire season. Tamba Hali and his monster sacks in the 4th quarter and whole day Packers offensive line did not have an answer for Hali. I think that is what you need to crash a party. By the way was it Orton who moved the ball. Yes it was Kyle Orton. Chicago Bears did you see what you missed out but I have a contradicting analysis for that , so let me hold off on that for now. Kyle Orton has enough experience in NFL to read NFC defenses since he played in NFC for the Bears and that is a welcome gesture for the Chiefs who recently fired their head coach. I guess Crennel will turn his interim tag into a full time coaching position. All the best for Romeo Crennel hope he is Bill Belichick number 2 (You know what I am saying).
The next first is a little bizarre but should be mentioned Colts get their first Victory this season without Peyton Manning in the line up. Should they say hooray or Oh God why should we win now? I say always victory is sweet for the players and coaching staff. Donald Brown TD run was amazing I think Colts missed it the whole season to design such a beautiful play. But from the business stand point I think potential pick#1 is jeopardized. But still you have 2 games to loose. Jim Caldwell will put a team to loose the next 2 weeks for sure. Just like the Rams shutting down Sam Bradford for the season on the basis of injury. The reason I say Draft Pick#1 is so much important is Colts do not need a QB in first Rd but that is such a viable trade asset in the draft to rack up at least 4 Picks in total. Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks all are in need of a QB and you bet they will sacrifice players and picks for that elusive number 1 if needed. So better watch out who will loose the next two weeks of the regular season.
If one Manning is out with injury the other Manning is throwing picks when they do not want against a mediocre Skins defense. I mean come on where is the motivation to go the playoffs. You pushed Dallas on the edge and a win would have sealed the fate, now you are scrambling again. Coughlin was right we were lame in the effort we are putting in this season. And the results are not lying as well. Key losses at key times in the season. Never mind they are still in the hunt for the playoff spot along with Philly, oh yeah Philly they are still in the hunt for that NFC East title. This division is a mess, current record says it will be Dallas but with 4 plus games they lost with 12+ point leading at half or 3rd quarter I say not sure what is going to happen when it comes to playoff.
This time of the NFL calendar we definitely should be talking about one team and we call it San Diego Chargers. They always get a way to win late in the season. I know they are 7-7 but if the same trend continues like Jets Broncos and Oakland loosing that means you are going to see Rivers in the post season again this season. Hope has not faded in the Charger land but indeed revived with this 3 game win streak. Will the fans still Norv Turner's head even if they make it to the playoffs. I am not sure about that but this has become a habit of making it to the playoffs and exiting in the first round which he surely wants to turn around this year. I guess for sure Chargers are the Dark Knight who will rise this season once again...!!!!
Did anybody have Stafford or Calvin Johnson in there Fantasy Line up?.
I did. I had both one on each team.
Lions are making a run for the playoffs and no one can deny that. A 13 point comeback victory on the road when in black hole is really applaudable. Detroit is surely playoff bound with Bears struggling and other teams juggling their wins you are sure to see them in playoffs but the question is how deep can they go. I would say 1 win in playoffs is itself a terrific achievement. A team that was 0-16 few seasons ago, 2 wins last year I mean that is for sure a turn around. Shouldn't we nominate Jim Schwartz for Coach of the year? Not nominate but surely award it to him.
With Monday Night Football off to a great start with words like prime time returns back to San Fransisco and just as you want to start the proceedings we have a power outage and the game is delayed for 20mins. Ideally I think the whole of MNF was of a surprise. Still unknown what Mike Tomlin and Big Ben were thinking. Is Charlie Batch that worse than Ben Roethlisberger than his one legged effort? I mean even when down by 17 with 4mins left in the 4th quarter Ben is still in the game with his limping act, you must be out of your minds not to put your back up QB in. It is not as if Steelers were trying to even the score that late in the game, their chances of retaining number 1 spot in AFC North were gone when they decided to start the injured guy at QB. When something of this thing happens in NFL more often than not the team experimenting looses the game. It was a critical one for Steelers, I feel Batch would have taken them to FG range at least 7 times and they would have just won on the field goal which was needed the most. Now the control is back to Baltimore. Both Steelers and Ravens have a favorable schedule and a potential to win out the regular season, but the catch would be Baltimore will have the bye week over Steelers who are banged up pretty bad.

NBA Season Preview and Predictions for 2011-2012
NBA did follow the suite of NFL but the way it came back might be different than what happened in football. I guess they lost the route following back to start a season after lock out. With a variety of things happening all around the normal NBA fan's mind is a ____________ please fill in your own word but my word is "Freaked". Yes freaked, the reason I say that is because, common the players are deciding where they want to go way before their Free Agency begins and dictating smaller market teams to release isnt there are a philosophy called honoring your contract. I mean when players talk about being committed blah blah blah shouldnt that apply to fans, team and the owners who have given them the oppurtunity. Shouldn't they be committed to themselves of winning a championship build team around themselves rather than jumping onto other teams in bigger markets, colluding to make super teams. The fact that these
superstars are forgetting is they are kicking out the team that made them a super star over the years, which believed in you when you are a nobody. My point is not being emotional and things like that but when a superstar says I love the city of _____ and the fans ___ etc etc that means it is all a big BS. They are more focused to collude to win rather than fight to win. And to support it NBA and NBAPA has done nothing different in the new labor that would stop players from doing what they want. I was deeply expecting a franchise tag rule much like the NFL but for Christmas we got the new Amnesty Rule. But you know what we are talking about,we are talking about David Stern, who is so much into globalization of the league where he is forgetting all this garbage publicity he is trying to get to the league will hurt them in the long run and consistently will loose ground to the NFL and even to MLB where Angels dropped a hammer on St.Louis called Albert Pujols. Well contrasting to my word at the start I think NBA is following the suite of MLB and not NFL. Because just as in MLB small market teams are like farm teams for Big city Light teams.
After so much of my rant about what we have and what it should be rather what it is right now,I come back to the point we have shortened season to play with just 66 games and a full playoffs. I think this will be my most depressing articles about the game because we can no longer can watch teams on national televisions or write about Cleveland, New Orleans,Philadelphia, Memphis, Sacramento, Houston(No Yao Ming), I hope people still remember there is a team for
NBA in Canada called Toronto Raptors and many more teams that people might forget mentioning .
The playoff picture is pretty much set in the east no matter what happens the rankings will be
1. Miami Heat
2. Chicago Bulls
3. Orlando Magic (Assuming Howard will be there atleast this season because he is off the market for now, which is a James Harrison type LOL..!!)
4. Boston Celtics
5. Atlanta Hawks
By the way add in New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets to make it to the playoffs because Knicks also has 2 super stars. New Jersey has Deron Williams.
That makes 8th spot is up for grabs who ever wins 25 -33 games can be in when considering for playoffs in the East
Alter the rankings in TOP 6 as you want but these are the teams for sure going to be in the playoffs from the East
When we talk about the west, well the super stars moved east so the power has shifted to the East as well but not to count out the west
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Dallas Mavericks
3. Okhlahoma Thunder (Year of the youth KD35)
4. San Antonio Spurs
5. Los Angeles Clippers (Well some one is saying they will contend for championship greater than the Lakers....I say what the freaking fish) let them play few games together before slapping the contender banner
6. Memphis Grizzlies (I did not forget that they pushed Spurs out last year in playoffs)
7th ,8th Spots may be the Suns will make a final push with Nash or Hornets might emerge and say oh we got better with Chris Paul deal, it can be Tyreke Evans and Demarcus Cousins duo in Sacramento that can make a surprise splash, Portland will fight for a lottery pick hope they dont pick another Greg Oden if they get the number 1 pick.
But teams that are contending for championship will be only few very few. From the East it is unanimous for the Heat to come back to the NBA finals. So people can buy tickets to Miami now if they want to watch the NBA finals. In the west it will be a fight and I am sure Thunder and Russell Westbrook have matured enough to get to the finals this season. Hope I see Oklahoma Thunder vs Miami Heat as a finals match up. Kobe can rest his knees and tend to end his career with 5 rings.
Just like others I have left out the teams from the smaller markets in this discussion and what they are going to do. I feel there will be few pretenders early in the season from the East like Milwaukee Bucks with Brandon Jennings and Andrew Bogut healthy they will be in the hunt to make it to the playoffs. Indiana Pacers with new Coach and new philosophy will not make huge splash but for sure will have Larry Bird's Support. What are the Jordan Bobcats I mean Charlotte Bobcats going to do, well not sure but not great things though. My eyes will be on Kyrie Irving and what Dan Gilbert will do to help support the top pick and soothe loyal Cleveland Fans. I know I missed few more teams but will put a detailed one in East Contenders vs Pretenders article later this week.
From the west we have teams from Denver(Not the Broncos, it is no more Tebow Time here), Sacramento, Houston, Golden State Warriors, Oh boy I did not even mention Utah Jazz not even once? I am sorry oh yeah I don't need to be because there is no Jerry Sloan any more there and the guys called Williams plays in Brooklyn and the Boozer boy plays on the Bulls Squad. Minnesota Timberwolves will be all about Ricky Rubio and his PG skills which people have completely shut out of their minds. If the Timberwolves make something out of this Spaniard then oh boy we are talking about one more Free Agency Frenzy in future. Heck ya all these small market teams are breeding grounds for players to become super stars and kick the teams in their gut to leap to Big Apple or Hollywood Life or lay down in Miami Beaches...
Please throw your bricks or baits on this article... Thanks for reading...!!!

Well we are back..!!!
In the NFL world , just around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend the major point of discussion always is who is making it to the playoffs and who is playing for draft picks. I call them Super Bowl contenders vs Draft Pick contenders. This week I begin my analysis from Thursday's triple header start for the holiday until Sunday Night thriller where Tyler Palko almost gave a heart attack to Dick Lebeau's defense.
Who you got GB rolling or Detroit Upset?
Holiday weekend 2011 began with Green Bay at Detroit where the major focus was Stafford was coming of a 5 TD game and upset on the cards, which was clearly over shadowed by Ndamukong Suh's stomp over GB Evan Dietrich-Smith. Clearly this kid needs some mentoring after the history of events that have happened. I always think there is a fine line between being a dirty player and a tough guy. This definitely crosses the line and puts him in the dirty player list. Again its very tough to look over such things in a course of game and just like others I am talking about Suh's stomp but indeed it should be how GB defense stepped up on the road and collected 3 picks from Stafford and how Aaron Rodgers is carving his mark in this league. I always have a feeling that Aaron Rodgers does not get the recognition he deserves just because he plays and represents the small market. Look at his numbers isn't he a clear favorite to win the MVP this season with a 11-0 start. I would be surprised if some one else picks these honors. I mean common 33 TD passes vs 4 INT with a 71.8% completion and a QB rating of 127.7 most of all I repeat a 11-0 start. Should I say something else that convinces that he is not the MVP this season, yeah may be I will hold off until the end of regular season and where he is.
Which Dallas Cowboys showed up?
Just so the game ended with GB beating Detroit 27 -15, I flipped over the channel to look at what Dallas has got against a surprising Miami Dolphins team who have been on fire over the last few weeks. Tony Sparano has been on the hot seat for over an year now. Just remember that the GM Jeff Ireland lost the race in landing John Harbaugh and so he let Tony Sparano slide for another year, after an 0-7 start a 3 game win streak will and never save a coach from facing the axe. Dallas is also in a season saving mode or rather call it must win situation with Giants right under their throat for the division lead and against a weak Miami team it is a must win situation for sure. As I said which Dallas team showed up on Thanksgiving, I say the good Dallas showed up on the day that they needed the most. Romo passed for 226 yrds and 2 TD and helped setup Dan Bailey's game winning FG in the closing moments to seal the fate of Tony Sparano and a W for the victory. The individual stats are not that great but it is a complete all round team effort that lifted the boys over the fins. Yes the game was very close 20-20 until the final seconds but it was not something like Dallas was going down for a missed FG or something like that. Sorry to not mention the Dallas D they did come up with key stops late in the game and over the last few weeks they did turn up and have served their due diligence.
Battle for Supremacy in the Harbaugh Family?
Heck no it was no battle for supremacy over the brothers. They still love each other and will keep loving each other, it's football not war. But for 60mins in the grid iron these brothers fought it like a war. Coming into the game Harbaugh from SF knew he had to shut down the run game of the Ravens and other Harbaugh from Baltimore knew how to blitz frequently enough to disrupt the momentum of the 49ers. Well to the matter of fact a franchise record of 9 sacks by Baltimore D completely shut down Alex Smith. Brothers knew they both had good running attack and so each other shut down each others run, but what I should take from this is no team so far has a rushing TD against the 49ers yes even the Ravens fail to get a rushing TD which is quite surprising as you think. Ray Rice a central offensive weapon just got 83yrds overall and in such a high defensive power game a single TD can change the course of things and Flacco delivered to seal a victory for Jim over John or should I say gatorade bath for Jim and hug for John.
Sunday NFL football is here!!!
Just so to begin the Sunday LSU and Alabama will be facing off in the BCS National Championship game as if I care who plays in that final bowl game of the year. I have been all in for a playoff pattern any way. Just to begin with what are the implications so far. Jets, Bills, Cincinnati, Pittsburg, San Diego, Denver, Houston, Tennessee, Philly are all the teams that require a W to have playoff hopes. Well but by the end of Sunday few teams in the list will have their season hopes shattered and some teams will still stay in hunt for a playoff berth. And so the match ups are also going to decide this week itself if Philly and San Diego can still hold on or go home.
The match ups Bills were at Jets, Denver was at San Diego, New England on the road in Philly, the Bengals hosted the Browns and Steeler nation travelled to the Cheifs.
Did I ever say that Mark Sanchez was an over rated QB well I might have definitely said that, but he always lives upto my words like whenever he gets those come back victories in the 4th quarters he seems like the guy that Jets are in for long haul but then again that lame performance against Denver last week writes everything off. Interesting analogy about the game is did Bills loose the game or Jets won the game. I say that because if Stevie Johnson had caught those two important passes when they needed the most Jets would be down 5-6 right where the Bills are today. But thanks to Jets D and Stevie Johnson's drops the bills are down 5-6 with a 4 game loosing streak which began against Jets and hope it ends with Jets. The stand out of the game is for sure 4 TD's from Mark Sanchez, followed by Dustin Keller, yeah I know where is the mention of Burress but I say have you looked at how Keller blocked and fended of his man opened up and caught passes a perfect TE role and so for sure he deserves credit here.
Tebow time...hurray....I had to wait until now to write this. I was dying to write this line I mean, I freaking hate Tebow seriously I hate Tim Tebow. But Mr. Tebow what is the magic around you that you have a 5-1 start. I think give credit to the defense of John Fox to earn those wins because they held Jets for 10points and the Chargers I mean the pass friendly Chargers to just 13 points. I think the run option offense got them to the FG range in OT and got that points needed for that victory. Tim Tebow might not be the guy at this moment to say he is the future but one complete off season training where he should get help from Elway and Fox about how to pass and read blitz and then he is not delivering still and wants to run the option offense only then I am with Elway until then lets see how much of Tebow magic is left this season.
The Chargers are definelty out of the playoff race. Not because of the record right now and the division they are in but because of their performance over the last few weeks. Where is the fake hand off passing plays, where are the break out passes in the deep, where is the connection, I know the days when Rivers and O-line reads the defense at the same time and adjusts accordingly and all happens through eye contact and teams were terrible defending it may be it is because of injuries we are not seeing the offense we are used to seeing, or is it time for a change at the top. Norv Turner is not looking too deep into his playbook and defenses know already what they are going to get. That is the key reasons they are in soup today. Hope that changes atleast in the due course of the season because they have nothing to loose or may be loose to get better draft picks.
Well finally to the Browns yes the Browns, Colt McCoy and the browns got a pass and sob story going on how harsh ex Offensive co ordinator Brian Daboll was? Hello Colt have you tried playing for Bill Belichek, instead of getting help from Favre ask Brady how it is even after winning 3 super bowls your coach is in your ear after a bad game or bad snap. This is pro football and not high school or college ball. Cincy hosted the Browns, Hillis was active and that reflected in the 1st half offense. The blocking improved and Colt McCoy got some time to throw to the receivers. End of 1st half 17-7 and somebody in the organization needs to tell the team that they play 2 halfs and 4 qtrs and not just 2. I give credit to the defense of Jauron who is making this team look better atleast one side of the ball but in key situations the team stills clearly reflects they are young and missing players to be better in that tough AFC North Division. For some reason I have a feeling this season we will have 3 AFC North teams making it to the playoffs and it wont be the Browns for sure.
Cincy got a good QB-WR, QB-TE combo going and a defense has stepped up as well. Andy Dalton continues to impress and A.J. Green is living up to the reputation of a top draft pick. The only difference in the game yesterday was A.J. Green caught the pass which was needed and Greg Little dropped the pass, oh yeah I forgot again a FG miss I mean common really one more what is wrong with the special teams out there...!!!
How did Caleb Hannie do in his 1st ever NFL start, dude get some information about the rules and how to spike the ball and stop clock. You have 4 secs and you are called for intentional grounding because you did not know how to spike the football, wow ..!!! When you are passing is terrible you have an excellent backfield combo and you refused to use it. Mike Martz have you lost hope on your run play because Cutler is injured?
So to end and wrap up the holiday weekend of football Pittsburgh escaped in Kansas City. Did they ever struggle against Romeo Crennel in his days as Cleveland Head Coach, ah..may be not there is something terribly wrong in the geography of Cleveland where sports success and city don't go hand in hand. Mike Wallace just had 17 receiving yards and Big Ben just had 1 TD pass, yeah Tyler had a key INT but if you look at that throw that was good stuff but bad on the part of receiver who called for it and did not go for the catch hence bad communication by both.

Before Supporting Anna what you as an individual should do..!!
I like the fact that today in India youth and media are all behind Anna Hazare jhi, but before even pointing our finger towards the so called corruption and calling it fight for 2nd independence did we ever realize how corrupt we as an individual are. Everybody will surely deny the fact that we are not as corrupt as the politicians and so on.
A simple question needs to be raised to oneself and say if you are stopped by the traffic police as a routine frisking and realized that your forgot to carry your car/bike insurance or for that matter any important document . As per Indian Law you are subjected for fine/jail time. But did you ever realize the INR50 you paid is not documented anywhere and the money goes no where but into the pockets of the guy who frisked you. I am sure 90% of people know what they did and are active role players in corruption.
Here is a list of things we commonly do and get away with:
1. Buying goods from a store : 60-70% of us get away with this because we never ask for receipt of sales. Where is the sales tax money going, who is responsible for this? Receipt will not only track a sale but how much income is earned by store and there by income tax that needs to be paid with the total value of sales of goods. But do we care no?
2. Our major means of transport Auto Rickshaw: Did we ever pay 70Rs plus tax and ask receipt. Oh wait we do not even have the concept of generating receipts when some one runs this kind of transport
3. Liquor Store/Cigarette(PAN dubba) : Did u know that in the state of Andhra Pradesh each liquor store license is more than 1 Crore INR. I am sure a sale of bottle of beer or liquor in any form is not documented and accounted for any time? Forgot to mention every time you ask "Ek choti gold flake dena(I need one small gold flake cigarette)" you are automatically adding to corruption and not helping it. Again I say ask your self are you the right one to fight corruption? Are you ready to change your self ?
4. Whom did you approach for Driver's License/Vehicle Registration : Why as a responsible citizen fighting against corruption did you approach a broker/middle man for your speedy driver's license/vehicle registration.
5. Education: In the name of getting good education schools, colleges charge students a high prices which are way over the government limit. If you ever see your fee receipt you pay the actual fee paid is under the government limit and the difference is gone into educational trust. But really is the money going into educational trust instead the max share of money should go to the government. Who is promoting such educational institutions.... I do not want to answer this one.
This list is just a few things on top of my mind that I think of as the big mistakes we contribute as citizens and today we are fighting against corruption without changing our mind set. Watching some one fast and joining some one in rally against illegal activity is good to support and post on your Facebook accounts or twitter accounts but that does not say your role ends with this, but only solution to this is practicing right things on a daily basis. A legit question is will this end political corruption no it will not but before we point finger towards it we need to mend our ways first.
Political corruption accounts only for a small part and it has a vast effect on us but we are so crippled in growth not because of political corruption but because we do not indulge in right practices. Change is not possible over night but change is possible over time and with change of mind set. Shouting slogans, rally on the famous streets, will not solve but changing your own self will automatically change the environment around you.

Bulls Lost track in Lebron's Triple Double

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls
Date: April 25th 3:30pm EST
Game Review:
The revenge of the fallen. Cavaliers have bounced back from a mediocre performance than game 3 where they thumped the Bulls with a 23 point victory. The whole Sunday afternoon show was completely dominated by The Chosen One Lebron James . Lebron registered his 5th career playoff Triple Double. The Cavaliers who looked as if they lost focus and the playoff intensity on the road brought back their defensive intensity and the trade mark offensive plays, and the bulls had no answer. Cavs go up 3-1 in the first round of playoffs.

Chicago Bulls started in the right direction and were just trailing by 3 at the end of first quarter. Derrick Rose who is having another great playoff run this year had an average shooting game with 9-20 FG for 21 points. Joakim Noah has a 3rd straight double double outing and his playoff best scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds. In spite of good performances from their front court and Rose the bulls had no answer to the defensive plays Mike Brown was drawing against the struggling offense. Until mid second quarter Rose and Deng were the only offensive scoring weapons who had a 7-16 shooting with rest of the team going 1-14 until Noah and Hinrich picked up the slack.

Lebron James had to leave the game for a short duration with a light elbow strain but he said because of the pain he would drive and score rather than shoot the ball. But however his pain was a no impact on his scoring, rebounding and assists. Antawn Jamison who had a tremendous outing scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Cavs sealed the game with a stunning 3 point shooting performance with 48% behind the arc and 54% with overall shooting.
Before the game Lebron openly suggested that JJ Hickson should get more minutes who was a starter during the regular season. JJ chipped in and got a high percentage of minutes in today's game with 17 and scored 10points with 3-4FG shooting and going 4-4 from the stripe.
This outstanding performance from the Cavs now shifts the scene back to home turf where they are the best team in the league defending home court. Bulls have to work extremly hard to squeeze a win and survive the series. But when you have the best player on the planet LBJ on the Cavs side it is tough for any opponent to get a W.

Cavs @ Bulls

Game:
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls
Date: April 22nd 7:00pm EST
Game Notes:
Welcome to another day of post season match up in 2010. Here we are on the 75th NFL draft day where every one is picking up their own picks who is number 1 Sam Bradford, Suh or Gerald McCoy... I cant pick in this post but yes we have a tremendous game ahead the Chicago Bulls hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 3rd game of round 1 of 2010 NBA playoffs.
The Cavs have their task cut out for game 3 eliminate second chance points and defend your man before going on help defense. When asked about their game plan Lebron James did not blink an eye in saying that second chance points and free trip to the baskets needs to be eliminated. Cavaliers are one of the best road teams in the regular season this year finishing behind Dallas with a record of 26-15 which is one of the best road records in the franchise history. Cleveland would need to defend transition baskets much better than their last outing and stop Joakim Noah who has a great capability of drawing the crowd into the game with his on and off court antics.
Chicago will definetly look to save their home court and extend the series against odds. Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng who all chipped in the previous game and will try to repeat their good performances. However the main concern will be defending the Cavaliers bigs and of all containing Lebron. Viny Del Negro has done well to defend and draw plays to out rebound a mighty Cavs frontcourt but how much of an impact it has on the experienced Shaq and ever energetic Anderson Varejao is mystery.
The Cavs would love to have another hot shooting streak of their guards who have gone combined 12-25 FG shooting and 7-13 behind the arc in the last game. The Chicago defense would concentrate on Jamrio Moon who has hit dagger threes late in the game when Cavs needed the most. If Cavs take a 3-0 lead then they will be in a very commanding spot to wrap the series in Chicago and they will definetly keep their Home fans waiting for a 2nd Round opponent.

Are Lakers too much for Thunder to Handle!!!
Game:
Oklahoma Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers
Date: April 20th 10:30pm EST
Pregame Notes:
Here it is game 2 of the first round playoffs against the new upstart playoff team Thunder vs the mighty LA Lakers. With Ron Artest suffocating Kevin Durant in game 1 who just scored 24 points will be a key a match up and a thing to see how Durant will fare against the former defensive player of the year. Can he come up from this, we have to wait and see!!!!
On the other hand Kobe Bryant will need to pull himself up as well from his shooting slump who looked healthy in practice. Kobe missed 13 of his 19 shots in game 1 which made him frustrated, but rest of the Laker team has pulled things together to wrap game1 .
Kobe Bryant was sore for the second half of the regular season with injured Index finger, swollen knee and looks to bring himself back to shape in before its too late.
Andrew Bynum who is back from the injury had a decent outing against Thunder in game 1. Together the twin towers of Lakers have been dominant in the first game against Nenard Kristic and frontcourt of Thunder but would need to see how they both together hold on during the series.
Game 2 will be a good chance for the Thunder to sneak a game from Lakers and put pressure on the defending champions but based on the mistakes Thunder has made in their first appearence in finals gives a feel that it could be a long shot for the young and dynamic Thunder.
Finally to end Oklahoma might have had the first nerves in the opener but their defense was superior than offense and they might look to pull up their socks to have an offensive intensity going through out this most important game of first round of 2010 Playoffs!!!
