Bulls Lost track in Lebron's Triple Double

Game:

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls

Date: April 25th 3:30pm EST

Game Review:

The revenge of the fallen. Cavaliers have bounced back from a mediocre performance than game 3 where they thumped the Bulls with a 23 point victory. The whole Sunday afternoon show was completely dominated by The Chosen One Lebron James . Lebron registered his 5th career playoff Triple Double. The Cavaliers who looked as if they lost focus and the playoff intensity on the road brought back their defensive intensity and the trade mark offensive plays, and the bulls had no answer. Cavs go up 3-1 in the first round of playoffs.

Chicago Bulls started in the right direction and were just trailing by 3 at the end of first quarter. Derrick Rose who is having another great playoff run this year had an average shooting game with 9-20 FG for 21 points. Joakim Noah has a 3rd straight double double outing and his playoff best scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds. In spite of good performances from their front court and Rose the bulls had no answer to the defensive plays Mike Brown was drawing against the struggling offense. Until mid second quarter Rose and Deng were the only offensive scoring weapons who had a 7-16 shooting with rest of the team going 1-14 until Noah and Hinrich picked up the slack.

Lebron James had to leave the game for a short duration with a light elbow strain but he said because of the pain he would drive and score rather than shoot the ball. But however his pain was a no impact on his scoring, rebounding and assists. Antawn Jamison who had a tremendous outing scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Cavs sealed the game with a stunning 3 point shooting performance with 48% behind the arc and 54% with overall shooting.

Before the game Lebron openly suggested that JJ Hickson should get more minutes who was a starter during the regular season. JJ chipped in and got a high percentage of minutes in today's game with 17 and scored 10points with 3-4FG shooting and going 4-4 from the stripe.

This outstanding performance from the Cavs now shifts the scene back to home turf where they are the best team in the league defending home court. Bulls have to work extremly hard to squeeze a win and survive the series. But when you have the best player on the planet LBJ on the Cavs side it is tough for any opponent to get a W.

Game:

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls

Date: April 22nd 7:00pm EST

Game Notes:

Welcome to another day of post season match up in 2010. Here we are on the 75th NFL draft day where every one is picking up their own picks who is number 1 Sam Bradford, Suh or Gerald McCoy... I cant pick in this post but yes we have a tremendous game ahead the Chicago Bulls hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 3rd game of round 1 of 2010 NBA playoffs.

The Cavs have their task cut out for game 3 eliminate second chance points and defend your man before going on help defense. When asked about their game plan Lebron James did not blink an eye in saying that second chance points and free trip to the baskets needs to be eliminated. Cavaliers are one of the best road teams in the regular season this year finishing behind Dallas with a record of 26-15 which is one of the best road records in the franchise history. Cleveland would need to defend transition baskets much better than their last outing and stop Joakim Noah who has a great capability of drawing the crowd into the game with his on and off court antics.

Chicago will definetly look to save their home court and extend the series against odds. Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng who all chipped in the previous game and will try to repeat their good performances. However the main concern will be defending the Cavaliers bigs and of all containing Lebron. Viny Del Negro has done well to defend and draw plays to out rebound a mighty Cavs frontcourt but how much of an impact it has on the experienced Shaq and ever energetic Anderson Varejao is mystery. www.cavs.com

The Cavs would love to have another hot shooting streak of their guards who have gone combined 12-25 FG shooting and 7-13 behind the arc in the last game. The Chicago defense would concentrate on Jamrio Moon who has hit dagger threes late in the game when Cavs needed the most. If Cavs take a 3-0 lead then they will be in a very commanding spot to wrap the series in Chicago and they will definetly keep their Home fans waiting for a 2nd Round opponent.

Are Lakers too much for Thunder to Handle!!!

Game:
Oklahoma Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers
Date: April 20th 10:30pm EST
Pregame Notes:
Here it is game 2 of the first round playoffs against the new upstart playoff team Thunder vs the mighty LA Lakers. With Ron Artest suffocating Kevin Durant in game 1 who just scored 24 points will be a key a match up and a thing to see how Durant will fare against the former defensive player of the year. Can he come up from this, we have to wait and see!!!!

On the other hand Kobe Bryant will need to pull himself up as well from his shooting slump who looked healthy in practice. Kobe missed 13 of his 19 shots in game 1 which made him frustrated, but rest of the Laker team has pulled things together to wrap game1 .
Kobe Bryant was sore for the second half of the regular season with injured Index finger, swollen knee and looks to bring himself back to shape in before its too late.

Andrew Bynum who is back from the injury had a decent outing against Thunder in game 1. Together the twin towers of Lakers have been dominant in the first game against Nenard Kristic and frontcourt of Thunder but would need to see how they both together hold on during the series.

Game 2 will be a good chance for the Thunder to sneak a game from Lakers and put pressure on the defending champions but based on the mistakes Thunder has made in their first appearence in finals gives a feel that it could be a long shot for the young and dynamic Thunder.

Finally to end Oklahoma might have had the first nerves in the opener but their defense was superior than offense and they might look to pull up their socks to have an offensive intensity going through out this most important game of first round of 2010 Playoffs!!!

NBA Game Repeat

Game:
Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Date: April 19th 8:00pm
Game Notes:

The Cleveland Cavaliers tormented the Chicago Bulls with late fourth quarter clamp down defense to take a commanding lead in the first round of NBA playoffs 2010. Props to the Bulls for their remarkable fight back which was completely a new team that played Game 1 on Saturday.
Derrick Rose found his shot early and got it going he scored 28 points in the first game taking 28 shots which was no preview for his last years playoff debut. In yesterday’s game though Rose was a complete different player who was driving to the basket drawing fouls dishing out assists and setting up team mates. He went 10-24 FG shooting for his 23 points along with 8 assists. This time however the reigning rookie of the year got ample support from his team mates Joakim Noah and Luol Deng. Noah had a great game who clearly shut his ears from the boos he got from the Cleveland Fans and just concentrated on his task. His awkward shooting style and his hustle play yielded 25 points and 18 rebounds.

Apart from the good play from Bulls the whole show was stolen by the reigning MVP Lebron James who went ballistic with his shooting and took over the game completely in the 4th quarter with 15points in the last 12minutes alone making it his ninth 40 point game in his 62nd playoff appearance since being drafted by the Cavs in 2003. Later in the post game presentation number 23 said that he was challenged by the Bulls bench to shoot and trash talk continued all long the night to shoot jumpers and he said I was shooting over and over and over and over to shut the bench’s trash talking.

Mike Brown should be applauded for this second straight game for getting his rotations right and as rightfully said in the post game Interview by one of the team leader Shaquille O Neal who had a good Free Throw outing and Lebron James as “Mike has had the most active rotation on the floor” and indeed it worked against the lively Bulls late in the game when Noah was setting the pace on the floor for wide open dunks and second chance points. Cavaliers needed Jamario Moon’s athleticism and late game shooting spectacular who went 4 in 5 from the long distance with 12 points.

With game 3 being played on Thursday at Chicago, Cavaliers have their hands full to analyze their tapes and work on how to counter Noah who helped Bulls win the rebounding battle yesterday 37-36 (Note: Bulls are the top rebounding teams in the league). Cavaliers hope to wrap up the series in Chicago and when asked about the possibilities Shaq said he would love to steal a game in Chicago and wrapping the series would be bonus. Adding to what his response was to Noah's Cleveland Sucks remarks he said "you look out of the window you dont get anything you have to be in Cleveland to enjoy Cleveland. I Love Cleveland and love Richfield"
