Deccan Chargers are in a familiar spot of the IPL edition, the semi finals for the 2nd straight year. Is this an year they would also post a back2back finals appearance or Chennai Super Kings will stun the defending champions.
The Super Kings are coming off a very strong performance where they beat Punjab Kings XI that posted a mammoth total of 192. MS Dhoni who single handed earned the semi final spot for CSK is determined to repeat his performance. Mathew Hayden and rest of the overseas players need to step up their performance. If Hayden and Vijay shine early then it would be a long night for Deccan.
Don't write off the Chargers so early because they are riding a 5 game amazing win streak where they have chased totals like 180, 170 without the help of their Star batsmen and Captain Adam Gilchrist. If we just think it is going to be a battle of batting maestros hang on Deccan have defended totals that are easily get ables in T20 version of the game against strong batting lineups like Delhi. Bowling department is the thin line for the Chargers who loose track in death overs. The hope for DC would be if Gilli shines and bowlers stick to the line then we will have a decent game to look ahead.
All in all Chennai looks to break the winning streak and get into the finals. Deccan will definitely be a team on a mission to get back to where they belong CHAMPIONS!!!.
